Korea Green Foundation President Choi Yul and other participants staged a performance urging the world to stop using fossil fuels and switch to green energy sources in the Blue Zone in the venue of the 22nd Conference of the Parties (COP 22) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change held in Marrakech, Morocco, at 11 a.m. (local time) on November 16.

Persons with disabilities, children and NGOs from all over the world attended the event, shouting slogans including “No border on the sky” and “Stop CO2! Go Action."

The COP22, the first Conference of the Parties since the Paris Agreement came into force, was held from November 7 to 18 with the participation of 197 countries, NGOs and research institutions as observers. In Korea, the agreement took effect on November 4.
