This is a biodiversity conservation project in collaboration with Dunamu, K-Green Foundation, and Korea Arboreta and Gardens Institute.  Biodiversity is decreasing as many species become extinct due to reckless development, war, and climate change.

‘Seed Vault NFT Collection’ was born as an NFT-based biodiversity conservation project, in that since they cannot be replaced by other living things once they become extinct, they have properties shared with non-fungible tokens (NFTs).

The ‘Seed Vault NFT Collection’ has a worldview committed to reviving the green planet with seeds stored in ‘Seed Vault’ in a world where all wild plants have become extinct. Project staff titles are found in holders with seed NFTs. And, if the participant receives NFTs (germination KIT, nutrition KIT) and has the final plant NFT dropped, the mission will be successful. In this project, when the mission is successful, seed information is released and the actual size of the restoration site is determined according to the mission success rate.

* What is Seed Vault?

As a compound word of seed and vault, it refers to a preservation facility that stores plant seeds lest plants become extinct due to climate change, war, disaster, etc. It is one of only two facilities in the world, and the only facility in South Korea that stores ‘wild plant’ seeds.
