Children’s Climate Change Leader Course A customized environmental education program for children that examines and explores various climate change issues

Children and teenagers are both victims of climate change and the future generation that can change this planet, so we should fulfill our educational responsibility to ensure that they are aware of climate change.

The Children’s Climate Change Leader Course is a customized environmental education program for children and teenagers that examines and explores various climate change issues at home and abroad and combines thematic lectures, field experiences, camps, and environmental education. The project includes various activities such as the “Climate Change Exploration Team,” an environmental camp whose participants listen to lectures on various detailed topics related to climate change every year and explore institutions, and the “Children’s Environmental School,” a visiting environmental education program to provide quality environmental education to schools and local children’s centers.

In particular, “Lost Future: Escape from the Climate Crisis,” an environmental teaching tool developed by applying the escape room format popular among students to interesting storytelling, is an environmental education program that is well-received by students, changing the perception that environmental education is boring and uninteresting.

The K-Green Foundation will continue to strive to help children and youth develop their capabilities as active participants in creating a healthy planet through climate environment education and activities.
