RE:EARTH Market RE:EARTH Market as a beachcombing project

RE:EARTH market, which is a marine waste reduction campaign jointly conducted by the K-Green Foundation and Lotte Department Store, was started to raise awareness of the seriousness of the marine waste problem and encourage zero waste lifestyles to solve the problem.

The RE:EARTH market is operated at a beach during the summer vacation season, when a lot of waste is generated. People can purchase various goods using trash picked up from the beach. RE:EARTH Market sells zero waste goods, so that this day’s experience can be the first step toward a zero-waste life.

In order to help more people feel the beauty of the sea through beachcombing and help them recognize the need to reduce everyday waste for the beautiful sea, we wish to run RE:EARTH markets in various locations.
