SDGs
Creating a Clean School A sustainable eco-friendly solution to reduce fine dust in schools

Fine dust is a class 1 carcinogen designated by the World Health Organization, and children are a vulnerable group to fine dust following the revision of the Special Act on Fine Dust. The K-Green Foundation creates a healthy environment and happy lives for children through activities to improve indoor air quality in schools, where children spend the most time outside of home during the day.

The project provides schools selected as “Clean Schools” with various facilities to block fine dust from outside and purify indoor air, as well as providing environmental education on fine dust that can help children learn about fine dust and actively deal with it.

The K-Green Foundation plans to continue the Clean School Project to help children grow up healthy and happy by creating a healthy school environment.
