Supporting Children with Pediatric Asthma A project to cover treatment costs and improve living environments for the healthy future of children with asthma

While the number of asthma patients is increasing due to fine dust and air pollution, childhood asthma is a representative environmental disease that reduces the quality of life due to frequent recurrences and activity restrictions. In addition, 20-30% of pediatric asthma patients continue to have symptoms even as adults and experience aftereffects such as impaired lung function and allergic diseases, making early treatment and improvement of living environment for childhood asthma very important.

Since 2017, SK E&S has sponsored, and the Community Chest of Korea and the Seoul Metropolitan Government have collaborated to provide support for the complete cure of children suffering from asthma.

The K-Green Foundation will continue to work harder to ensure the healthy growth of children from low-income families who suffer from environmental diseases such as asthma but cannot receive treatment for financial reasons.
