Ocean Plogging Support Project Let’s pick up the waste from the sea, let’s contain the waste that goes to the sea. Ocean Plogging

The Ocean plogging support project was started to solve the problem of disposable waste, which has increased since COVID-19 in 2020, being indiscriminately discarded and flowing into the ocean.

It is an environmental protection campaign to raise awareness of the seriousness of the marine debris problem caused by the rapid increase in plastic usage, promote purification activities and create social consensus. The Global Coca-Cola Foundation is a sponsor and Coca-Cola Korea is participating.

In 2020 and 2021, the project provided support mainly to non-profit private organizations engaged in marine protection activities and also carried out marine cleanup activities, waste monitoring, local environmental education, and awareness raising campaigns. In 2022, the project plans to support various general teams to carry out not only cleanup but also various and innovative activities across the country.
